Your Journey Starts Here at Baga’s House

Started in 2024, Baga’s House is a community initiative that empowers young people through hands-on vocational training, mentorship, and real-world opportunities through project-based learning. We are here to create pathways for those who have been overlooked or underserved, giving them the tools, skills, and support they need to thrive. At Baga’s House, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to realize their full potential.

Why We Exist

Too often, people (and especially young people) are written off before they’ve had the chance to show what they are truly capable of. Traditional education systems can leave many feeling lost, without a clear path forward. We aim to change that narrative by providing practical skills, community support, and a space to learn by doing. Our mission is to help young people discover purpose, build confidence, and create a positive direction for their future.

What We Do

Fresh Start Job Fair

Our upcoming Fresh Start Job Fair is an exciting initiative aimed at connecting young people with vocational training, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities. This event will introduce participants to skill-building experiences in areas such as carpentry, basic IT, automotive repair, and culinary arts, paving the way for future career paths.

Mentorship and Community Support

  • One-on-One Mentorship: Every participant is paired with a mentor who provides guidance and encouragement. Our mentors are passionate about sharing their experiences and helping young people see their own potential.
  • Community Events: From skill showcases to community-building activities, Baga’s House is a space where young people can feel connected, supported, and understood.
